Our History

We were born in a small pharmacy founded in March 1950 in the town of Imbert. We are the only pharmaceutical company sustained for three family generations of professionals in the field of medicine, pharmacology, mycology, cosmetology and we have the support of thousands of consumers through our customers: drug stores, supermarkets, beauty salons among others.

Our founder Dr. Mario Collado Ramos, has the honor of being the first professional graduates of the School of Pharmacy at the University of Santo Domingo. Since the beginning of his career he has impregnated with fervor and dynamism all of his partners, family and employees. The result has been a sustained growth and development from the beginning.

We identify deeply with the Dominican people, part of whose history and progress are also ours. After «more than 70 years of health care and beauty of the Dominican people” we produce and manage a diverse portfolio of local pharmaceutical, imported and a wide range of beauty products and consumption.

Currently Laboratorios Dr. Collado, S.A. belongs to the Najri Group. Which has several companies that stand out in the different branches of trade, among them are:
